BCRC Youth Ministries strive to create a comfortable yet challenging environment for the youth in our church. Comfortable because we desire that the youth can establish and nurture their relationship with the Lord and also strengthen relationships with their peers. Challenging because through Biblical study and small groups, students gain a better understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

We desire to grow in relationships with one another through this ministry. Much of our Ministry takes place in normal life because we believe that Life is ministry. Because of this you will most often find Youth Group leaders at the events of the youth. We want to build solid relationships with the kids and be a part of their already busy lives.

Through worship, Biblical teaching, small groups, service projects, mission trips and fun activities our youth

Learn more about the Bible and how its principles direct them to a better understanding of the Lord. They learn to apply those principles to their own lives.

Grow in their spiritual journey with Christ and grow deeper relationships with youth leaders and peers.

Connect to the immediate church community and beyond. Through service and missions they begin to utilize their God-given gifts for Gods glory.

Even though our main goal is relationships, a lot of this initially develops at events that we have set up through church.

Junior High (grades 6 - 8)
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays (WNL) of the month from 6:45 PM until 8:15 PM for Bible study and fellowship. We also meet once a month (or so) for a special event. Stay updated with the calendar for JH ONLY events.

Missions and Retreats
Each quarter there are opportunities for both junior high and high school to experience God in different, often foreign, environments through retreats and mission trips. These are great ways to deepen relationships with Him and one another. Missions are wonderful opportunities for high school students to better discover their spiritual talents and gifts by serving people in need in a community distant from their own. Destinations differ from year to year.

Summer and Winter Activities
During the summer, the groups have modified schedules geared towards camping trips, service projects, and other fun events. A mission trip is available for high school students each summer. Each winter or spring we have an opportunity for a retreat, usually a weekend trip to the mountains or coast for a time of study, fun, and rejuvenation.
